Eldon E. Hastings, BA, DDS
Dr. Eldon Hastings is a native of Arizona. He was raised in Mesa and has practiced dentistry in Arizona since 1969. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent Training Academy and worked as a Special Agent from 1962-1965.
Dr. Hastings was elected to the Gilbert, Arizona Town Council in 1985, and served as Vice-Mayor from 1987-1989. Dr. Hastings has been a board member of the East Valley Mental Health Association, the Desert Samaritan Hospital Advisory Board and the Chandler/Gilbert Community College Aviation Board. He has held memberships in the American Academy of Preventive Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the National Dental Practitioners Society.
Dr. Hastings completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in practically all facets of dentistry and has provided dental care for over 40,000 patients. He was selected by the Consumers' Research Council of America as one of 'America's Top Dentists' for 2005-2006.
Julia Lalovi Hastings
Julia was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona and is the youngest daughter of Dr. Hastings. Julia attended college in Arizona, Hawaii and Utah, receiving her Bachelor of Science at Utah Valley State in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. She graduated from Dr. Hastings' American Institute of Dental Assisting in 2003. While attending college, Julia worked in numerous capacities, from dental assisting to office management. Though she has worked for many dentists, she feels luckiest to be able to work for her father.
Janetta Michele Blair
Janetta was born in Fort Ord, California and was raised in Enid, Oklahoma. She received her education through the American Institute of Dental Assisting and graduated at the top of her class. Janetta loves God, family and animals and is a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend. In her free time, she enjoys theater, opera, reading and music.
Kari Johnson
Kari received her education from Brigham Young University. She holds an Associates of Science degree and received her Radiography Certification from the state of Arizona in 2004. She has been a Dental Assistant for five years. She enjoys winter adventure sports and hopes to one day live where there are nine months of snow instead of 100+ degree heat.
Emily Jean Chapman
Emily was born and raised in Arizona. She attended Phoenix College's Dental Hygiene program and graduated in 2003. She loves working with Dr. Hastings and his staff, but especially loves getting to know and chatting with all her wonderful patients.
